I thought I’d share something a bit different with you today after my lovely weekend in Shropshire. We celebrated my sister-in-law’s 40th birthday with a garden party at The Wroxeter Hotel and Andy (hubby) booked us in at North Farm Bed and Breakfast nearby. We were initially apprehensive when we pulled onto the drive at the sight of rusty bikes in barns and bails of hay (well they did tell us it was a working farm!), however, our doubts were unfounded as we had a superb stay at this unique 4 star B&B.
Andy and I had a mooch around the well kept, quaint gardens after checking into our room and making a cup of tea. How cute is that mini milk bottle!

We were looking forward to our cooked breakfast with free range eggs!
Sitting in the garden was SO quiet and peaceful. It’s definitely a place to chill and de-stress.

After our cup of tea and unwind in the garden, we got ready and took a taxi to the Wroxeter Hotel for Sam’s 40th. There were some great touches at the party including a sweet stall, an ice-cream parlour, a photo booth, and fish and chips wrapped in newspaper all about the birthday girl herself. A fab night was had by all (especially Andy’s brother Kevin, who I’m sure had a very thick head on Sunday morning 😆 ).

After a great nights sleep, we enjoyed a superb breakfast at a beautifully laid table and purchased some of the free range eggs before we left.
